DMCA / Copyright Policy

Overview

UnscramblePilot respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the site to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws in other jurisdictions.

If you believe material on UnscramblePilot infringes your copyright, please send us a detailed notice using the form below or by emailing sphereofthoughts@gmail.com. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material.

What must be in your notice

To be effective, your takedown notice must include all of the following. Incomplete notices may delay processing.

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the exact URL on UnscramblePilot.
• Your contact information: name, address, telephone number and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

How to submit a notice

Fill in every field below. The form will open your email client with a pre-filled message that you can review before sending. If you prefer, you may send the same information directly to sphereofthoughts@gmail.com.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge receipt within two business days. If the notice is complete and the claim appears valid, we will remove or disable access to the material and notify the user who posted it, where applicable. We may forward a copy of the notice to the alleged infringer as part of that process.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe the takedown was mistaken or misidentified, you may send a counter-notification to sphereofthoughts@gmail.com. Your counter-notification must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, telephone number and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or any judicial district where UnscramblePilot may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material after the statutory waiting period unless the original complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
